Not Just Helping Families Grow Up Together, But To Grow Up Together In Faith!
Maria and Bethlehem Lutheran churches are a part of the ELCA.
Mission and Vision statement of the ELCA
Our Mission: Together in Jesus Christ we are freed by grace to live faithfully, witness boldly and serve joyfully.
Our Vision: A world experiencing the difference God's grace and love in Christ makes for all people and creation.
Our Values: Our values are grounded in faith, in our biblical and Lutheran confessional sources and our love of God and neighbor. They speak to the way this church lives and practices our faith, and they will guide how we journey forward in Christ as church together.

Have you seen this sign lately in the yards of churches? Do you know what they are trying to say? It is about your children, the children in your family, the children that live next door to you, the children of your community and your county. Do you know in Elk County, as few as 1/4 of the children attend a faith based activity? Do you know that only 1 hour a week will help our children immensely: data has proven this. Children who attend a faith based activity, one hour a week do better in many areas of life including grades, family communication, reduced violence tendencies, lower risk of suicide and enhanced self-worth. If you would like to learn more about this campaign that began in Erie county; click the yellow “Take me to Worship” button above. Maria and Bethlehem Lutheran Churches are promoting this program.
